A new three-story, roughly 198,000-square-foot high school for 1,080 students in grades 9 through 12, on a 5-acre Newark site, with sidewalk, plaza, landscaping, a running track and a physical education field. The authority's own construction cost estimate is $121.7 million to $128 million. This is design-build: the prime holds the contract, carries its design consultant as a subconsultant, and has to name its plumbing, HVAC, electrical and structural steel subcontractors in the proposal. Every one of those firms needs New Jersey DPMC classification and NJSDA prequalification in place on the day proposals go in, so start that paperwork before pricing. Proposals are due Oct. 6 and bids open Oct. 21. Addendum 4 was issued Sept. 1 — check the bid documents for the current scope.
Always confirm dates and requirements on the issuing agency's own posting before pricing a job — dates move, and addenda are what move them. Search everything · Get The Punch List
