MTA C&D RFP CS00050B — the program and project management consultant for the Verrazzano-Narrows Bridge rehab, the oversight companion to construction contract VN-9A (CR#2138178, bids 9/23). Proposals due 9/21; documents went out 8/13 and there are no addenda yet. Published value band is over $1M to $5M on a 42-month term, 100% MTA money, with goals of MBE 15%, WBE 15%, SDVOB 6% per the solicitation notice — the C&D webpage lists them as 'NA,' but the notice governs. The 8/24 pre-bid at 10 AM on Teams is not mandatory; there is also a site tour 8/26 at 10 AM from 1 Verrazzano Bridge Plaza, with attendee lists due 8/20 and 8/21 and only two people per firm on the bus. The listing files under 'MTA-NYCT,' but the real owner is MTA Bridges & Tunnels. One flag: the PMC scope names hanger cable and catwalk repairs that do not appear in VN-9A — added scope, follow-on work, or loose drafting, nobody has confirmed which.
